G2LD designed and oversaw the broad lighting remodel of this sanctuary, which involved replacing outdated incandescent lights with state-of-the-art LED downlights and cove lights, as well as new theatrical fixtures for highlighting the pulpit, lectern and altar. Special consideration went into the placement and photometrics of the new downlights so that they could be kept in the areas of flat ceiling along the sides, instead of in the central peaked ceiling, while still keeping good light coverage across all the pews. Color changing LED fixtures were tucked into an architectural detail to wash the wall behind the crucifix, allowing the color to change with the seasons of the church.
